Peter Carter
Peter Carter is a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and High Court of Australia. He studied law, government and communication at the University of Queensland and obtained his LLB and a postgraduate BCL there. Peter was a foundation national councillor and the inaugural Queensland president of the Australian Lawyers Alliance (ALA). He is currently serving as one of the two Australian governors on the board of the Washington DC headquartered American Association for Justice and is a former director of the Civil Justice Foundation of Australia. A recreational light aircraft pilot, he is a member of the Aviation Law Association of Australia and New Zealand (ALAANZ) and has served as national councillor and Queensland chair of that association. He is also a member of the Lawyer-Pilot Bar Association. Peter is the CEO & owner of Queensland litigation and property law firm Carter Capner Law.
