Karen Turner
Karen Turner was born in Melbourne, Australia. After leaving school, she commenced a career spanning more than twenty years in the Financial Services Industry which presented the opportunity to work in Singapore, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Australia.
Throughout this time she also managed to indulge her first love – music – and over the years performed with innumerable bands and participated in many musical productions and functions.
In recent years her vocation shifted to writing training material and technical documentation for financial planners and financial software programs. As an escape from the intensity of the corporate environment, she discovered a passion for fictional prose, which led to this rather eclectic compilation of short stories – All That and Everything.
Interspersed with illustrations by her late father, Robert, All That and Everything is Karen's first book. Many of the stories within have won literary awards.
Karen is the current Vice-President of the Society of Women Writers Vic. She lives with her husband Stuart, and her dog Tess, in Mornington, Victoria, where she teaches singing and is currently completing her first novel.
