Hubert Schaub

I was born in West Germany in 1958. At the age of seventeen I went backpacking, covering several long term journeys through Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa, during which I learned invaluable life and survival skills, especially in trouble spots such as Iran, Israel and Uganda. In my mid-twenties I made my home in Western Australia, married and we raised two children.

My martial arts journey began in the late 1980’s with the study of Taekwondo, the art I have taught since 1991. We still travel frequently, whether it is into the Australian bush or overseas and I still run my Taekwondo school. Both journeys are never ending, they run in parallel and in unison as the ‘Journey of Life’
